These leaders have a proven track record of success in the commercial real estate sector, having a diverse portfolio of property transactions with a commitment to excellence and client satisfaction. Day to day, Skyline serves as a full service commercial brokerage offering commercial sales, leasing, property management and consulting. Skyline also has a Commercial Real estate Education Division. Skyline Commercial Real Estate Education, is dedicated to providing high-quality education and resources for residential agents looking to transition into the commercial real estate sector, as well as first-time commercial real estate investors. Our classes, coaching, are presented by veteran commercial real estate brokers who are passionate about sharing their knowledge and insights with others.
Abra A. Barnes, CCIM is the epitome of a trailblazer. She serves as the President/Broker of Barnes & Associates, REALTORS®, Principal & Instructor at Barnes School of Real Estate, and Principal at Skyline Management Services. Beginning her career in 2001 as a residential agent, Abra transitioned to commercial in 2016, where she has become a sought-after expert in tenant representation, particularly for restaurants and retail clients. She also serves as a small business coach, where she passionately teaches entrepreneurs how to leverage ownership and tap into the benefits of SBA loans to build lasting success.
Abra holds a B.S. in International Marketing/Merchandising from The University of Alabama. Her impressive achievements include First-Time Homebuyer REALTOR® of the Year (State of Alabama), Broker of the Year (Birmingham), Director roles at both the Alabama Association of REALTORS® and Birmingham Association of REALTORS®, National Association of REALTORS® Fair Housing Champion, Vice Chair/Commissioner of the Housing Authority Birmingham District, and board member for CCIM Alabama, Birmingham Business Journal – Business Woman of the Year and the City of Birmingham Design Review Board.
Lyndsy N. Yim, CCIM is a powerhouse in commercial real estate with nearly a decade of expertise in leasing, sales, and landlord representation. As Principal of Skyline Management Services (Alabama), Lyndsy manages a dynamic portfolio spanning power centers, grocery-anchored shopping centers, urban redevelopment projects (leveraging historic tax credits), and surplus property dispositions. She excels at recruiting national and regional brands, landing first-to-market tenants, and positioning new retail concepts for long-term success.
A proud Auburn University alumna with a BBA in Political Science, Lyndsy has been widely recognized for her leadership, industry impact, and unwavering commitment to diversity and mentorship. Her accolades include the CoStar Power Broker Award, CRE Connect Next Generation Award – Atlanta & Southeast, Birmingham Business Journal’s Rising Stars in Real Estate, and Commercial Realtor Council’s Rookie of the Year. She serves on the Board of Directors for CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women) Birmingham, and co-chairs the National CREW Network’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Taskforce. Lyndsy served on the City of Hoover’s Planning & Zoning Commission and was appointed as a Commissioner.
